Drake & Scull is new majority shareholder at Passavant-Roediger Anlagenbau

On December 28, 2009, Bilfinger Berger Facility Services sold 82 percent of its shares in Passavant-Roediger to Drake & Scull International. Passavant-Roediger specializes in plant construction and will thus continue to focus on the turnkey construction of sewage and water treatment plants.

The strategic importance of Passavant-Geiger for Bilfinger Berger Facility Services will not however be affected by the sale of Passavant-Roediger. At its locations in Aarbergen, Karlsruhe and Ahnsen, Passavant-Geiger manufactures machines and plants for water, sewage and sludge treatment and water-removal, providing “customer-oriented single-source solutions”.

Vacuum technology by Roediger Vacuum, based in Hanau, sewage treatment plant optimization by Passavant-Intech based in Rimpar and gas treatment by Roediger BioEnergie based in Hanau will continue to be part of the range of services offered by Passavant-Geiger Group.
