New technology for old heating systems

As an owner of residential buildings, you can benefit from modernizing your existing heating systems by using new high efficiency pumps and optimizing heat distribution.     The Federal Government’s development scheme which began on April 1, 2009, rewards early replacement of old unregulated heat pumps for high efficiency pumps of energy efficiency class A with a government grant. Investing in a new pump and optimizing heat distribution is subsidized by 25 %, but by a minimum of € 100. The house owner obtains the subsidy through the Reconstruction Loan Corporation (KfW).

For a single-family house with radiators, we offer high efficiency pumps of energy efficiency class A for € 325. If this investment amount is compared with the possible savings in energy costs of € 138 a year, the investment pays for itself within 2.5 years.  The amount you can potentially save depends on the individual circumstances of your property and for this reason we are happy to offer a no-obligation consultation at your property.  In this consultation, we will also tell you which measures you should take to optimize heat distribution. These measures could include insulating pipes according to the German Energy Savings Act (EnEV) or installing valves for hydraulic balancing of the piping system.
