Clear focus on people: ahr’s residential care service

Residential nursing home facilities are increasingly confronted with the pressure of cost reductions and increasing standards for better quality of care. This is particularly evident in the case of personal care, to which every citizen has a guaranteed entitlement. Care requires time, time that we find for our customers. Our residential care service carries out many functions that the Medical Review Board of the Statutory Health Insurance Funds (MDK), also considers social assistance services. Services which help to structure the daily routine, which promote or maintain contact and not least which allow individual wishes and needs to be addressed. If the activities and existential experiences of daily living (AEDL) are promoted, dignity is preserved. By working closely with professional carers and closely integrating the other services offered by ahr, the residential care service is “person centered” and keeps staff free to concentrate on caring activities.

ahr now offers this service throughout Germany. “Haus Rheinpark” retirement home in Leverkusen has entrusted ahr to provide its residential care service there since December 2006.
