Dr. Joachim Ott, who was born in 1963, completed his studies in Economics at the University of Mainz in 1984 and in Business Administration in St. Gallen in 1987. After successfully completing his doctorate at the University of St. Gallen, he joined the Bilfinger Berger Group in 1991, becoming Member of the Executive Board at Passavant Werke AG in Aarbergen in 1997.

From 1999 to 2003, Dr. Dr. Joachim Ott was Managing Director of Passavant-Roediger Umwelttechnik GmbH. In 2002 he became an officer of Bilfinger Berger AG and in 2003 he was appointed member of the Executive Board at Bilfinger Berger AG. He was responsible Industrial Services, Facility Services, Environmental Technology and Real Estate Management.

Dr. Joachim Ott has been CEO at Bilfinger Berger Facility Services GmbH since 2008.
