Compliance System
It is impossible to imagine a modern, international company without a compliance system that is fully integrated into its daily processes and procedures. Compliance is the orientation of all internal and external activities toward legal requirements and generally binding standards of behavior.
The basis of the compliance system at the Bilfinger Berger Facility Services subgroup are the Principles of Conduct valid for the entire Bilfinger Berger Group which establish binding rules for dealing with clients, business partners and employees as well as the Behavior Guidelines which explain the Principles of Conduct in greater detail.
The management of Bilfinger Berger Facility Services is committed to this Code of Conduct and requires that all employees ensure their activities are in line with the Behavior Guidelines. We will neither accept nor tolerate any failure to do so.
The compliance system is anchored in the Bilfinger Berger Facility Services subgroup through comprehensive information and training measures, through clear guidelines as well as the control and documentation of procedures.
Compliance refers not only to the observance of laws and regulations in order to prevent damage to the company from potential violations. Compliance is a part of our corporate culture. It allows us to be an example for the market and is an essential component of the group's long-term success.
Compliance System of Bilfinger Berger Facility Services GmbH certified
As the first enterprise of the real estate economy in Germany, the compliance system of Bilfinger Berger AG and, thus, especially also of Bilfinger Berger Facility Services GmbH, has been certified by the Initiative Corporate Governance of the German Real Estate Economy.
During an intensive quality audit conducted by the management board, the compliance officer and the sales and purchasing organisation in spring 2010, the Konstanz-Institute for value management has been persuaded, under the management of Prof. Dr. habil. Josef Wieland, of the compliance system of Bilfinger Berger Facility Services GmbH to be an efficient system according to the Initiative Corporate Governance of the German Real Estate Economy.
It has been explicitly confirmed to Bilfinger Berger Facility Services to have implemented a value management, subject to Article 7.7 of the articles of association of the Initiative of the Corporate Governance of the German Real Estate Economy.
Bilfinger Berger Facility Services GmbH and all companies of the subgroup are, therefore, with immediate effect, authorized to advertise with this certification.
